Longing (Original On Canvas) Prints Original artworkMixed media and oilThis painting was inspired by a deeply personal moment when my father, who lives in Japan, was hospitalized following a stroke, recently. Though his condition is not serious, it led me to reflect on my distance from home, the time I have missed with my family, and the uncertainty of future moments together. Having moved out at 19, and now a parent myself, this experience prompted a journey of self reflection, revealing what I deeply long for in life.
